Session Summary
In this session, you will learn more details about the
various areas the next release of Microsoft Systems Management Server (code
named Topaz) includes to integrate with an Active Directory environment.
Features such as discovery of system resources from Active Directory and
integration of Active Directory site names with SMS site boundaries greatly
improve the functionality of SMS in an Active Directory environment.
This is a

200 session that was recorded November 29, 2001 and presented by
Wally Mead. Wally Mead has been with Microsoft for nine years. He started in
the training organization, where he delivered training for the LAN Manager
product. He began working with SMS in 1994, and has been involved in the
development and delivery of all SMS training courses for Microsoft. He now
works for the SMS product group in the Early Adopter Program (EAP) group, and
provides training for EAP members.
