Hotfix Information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Office XP service paxk that contains this hotfix.

Important Notes
- Microsoft Windows Installer 2.0 is required for client patch installations that are later than Office XP SP-2. For more information, see the Readme.txt for Microsoft Outlook 2002 SP-2.
- You can apply the Outlook_admin.msp file to any Microsoft Office XP administrative image that has Office XP SP-2 or later installed, whether or not the administrative installation point has been previously patched.
- You can apply the Outlook.msp file to a client installation that is already at the Office XP SP-2 level.
