OLAP cube generation may not be successful in Microsoft Project Web Access (324838)

When you try to generate an OLAP cube in Microsoft Project Server Web Access, the cube-generation process may not be successful.
CAUSE
This issue may occur if Analysis Services is not completely configured for Microsoft Project Server. This is the case if one or more of the following conditions are true:
- You are not a member of the OLAP Administrators group.
- You have not run the PSComplus.exe utility.
- You have not migrated the Analysis Services repository to a Microsoft SQL Server database.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use one or more of the following methods, depending on your situation.
Add Account to OLAP Administrators Group- On the computer where Analysis Services is installed, click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Computer Management.
- In the left pane, expand Local Users and Groups under System Tools.
- In the Groups folder, double-click OLAP Administrator Group, and then click Add.
- Select the user accounts or groups that you want, click Add, and then click OK two times.
- Close the Computer Management console.
Run the PSComplus.exe Utility- Locate the Microsoft Project Server\Bin\1033 folder, and then double-click PSCOMPlus.exe.
- Under Analysis Services (OLAP) Access Identity, type the Windows account in the User Name box.
- In the Password box, type the password for this account.
- Under Sharepoint Team Services Administration Identity and Sharepoint Team Service Database Access Identity, click to clear the Process this identity update check boxes.

Under Sharepoint Team Services Administration Identity and Sharepoint Team Service Database Access Identity, type the user name and passwords for the appropriate accounts. - Click Create\Update COM+ Apps, and then click OK.
Note For the Microsoft Office Project 2003 version of PSComplus.exe, the Sharepoint Team Service from Microsoft Database Access Identity is not needed and will not be available.
Migrate Analysis Services Repository to SQL Server DatabaseNote If you choose not to migrate the repository, you have to add the OLAP Administrators group, or the Windows user account that is a member of the OLAP Administrators group, to the list of users and groups that have Full Control permissions for the Program Files\Microsoft Analysis Services\Bin folder so that the cube can be built.
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server, point to Analysis Services, and then click Analysis Manager.
- In the left pane, locate your Analysis Server computer.
- Right-click your Analysis Server computer, and then click Migrate Repository.
- In the Migrate Repository Wizard, click Analysis Services native format, and then click Next.
- In the SQL Server box, type the name of your Microsoft SQL Server 2000 computer, and then click Next.
- Select the authentication type to connect to the computer running SQL Server. Enter the login ID and password in the appropriate boxes (if they are needed here). Click Next.
- In the Databases box, point to the arrow, and then click ProjectServer.
- Click Finish, and then click OK.
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server, and then click Enterprise Manager.
- In the left pane, locate and then expand the computer running SQL Server.
- Under Security, right-click Logins, and then click New Login.
- On the General tab, type the account name in the form of Domain\User name in the Name box.
- Under Defaults, point to the arrow in the Database box, and then click ProjectServer.
- Click the Database Access tab, click to select the ProjectServer check box, and then click db_owner.
- Click OK, and then click Exit on the Console menu.
