Session Summary



During this session, we will discuss the best practices involving the MOM SQL database, including backup and restore, database expansion, failover concerns, and fault tolerance. We will also discuss the steps necessary to move the SQL database, if it is absolutely necessary.

This is a Level 200 session that was recorded March 15, 2002 and presented by Atul Shah. Atul Shah has been with Microsoft since 1998 as a Systems Management Server Support Professional. He has been involved with SMS 2.0 training development and delivery for more than two years, including technical triages and white papers. Atul is currently a Technical Lead in the SMS and MOM support teams.
