Developing trustworthy software has become more
important than ever before, given the distributed and mobile nature of today's
software. .NET introduces a new and powerful concept called code access
security that helps in assigning permissions to .NET code. In this WebCast, we
will explore the concept of permission objects, permission requests, and
grants. We will also have a look at security policy management using code
groups, permission sets, and other methods.

300 session that was recorded April 10, 2002 and presented by Paddy
Srinivasan. Paddy Srinivasan is an Application Development Consultant with the
Premier Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team. Currently he is evangelizing
the adoption of the .NET platform with several leading ISVs. As a part of this
initiative, Paddy has been delivering various technical sessions on the .NET
Framework.
