Session Summary



In this session, we will show how to install and configure Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 on Windows 2000, Windows Me, and previous Windows 32-bit operating systems. We will also discuss common troubleshooting steps to use if setup fails, and various other issues of interest to both beginning and advanced Internet Explorer users. Finally, we will describe some of the new features of Internet Explorer 5.5 that help make the user experience when browsing the Internet more enjoyable.

This is a Level 100 session that was recorded August 25, 2000 and presented by Juan J. Flowers. Juan has been involved with Microsoft since January 1992. He started as a College Co-op and Intern. Juan was an Honors Graduate of Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and is the Internet Explorer 5.x and Office 2000 Support Lead. Juan provides support for technical customer issues and also develops training. He has been involved with two resource kits and the Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 Step-By-Step book.
