Duplicate Outbound Interchanges May Be Created for a Single Inbound Interchange (324448)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002
- Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 SP1
This article was previously published under Q324448 SYMPTOMS
In BizTalk 2002, you can manually move documents from the Work queue to the Suspended queue to resubmit the document. BizTalk 2002 may create a duplicate outbound interchange record for a single inbound interchange record if documents are manually transferred to the Suspended queue.
CAUSE
Manual transfers of this type are not supported.
RESOLUTION
Do not manually transfer documents from the Work queue to the Suspended queue.
MORE INFORMATION
A single submission GUID must have an inbound interchange and outbound interchanges (this field is always populated). When the documents are manually moved, sometimes a duplicate outbound record is created in the tracking database so that two outbound GUIDs may exist for a single inbound interchange record.
