INFO: Application Center Replication Support for CMS (323892)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Content Management Server 2001
- Microsoft Application Center 2000
This article was previously published under Q323892 SUMMARY
This article describes what to include as part of a replication schedule that pertains to Content Management Server (CMS) configuration and site data.
MORE INFORMATION
Do not replicate any files or directories that CMS installs but that fall outside the customizable hierarchy. Do not replicate any of the CMS registry data or the files and virtual directories that make up the System Configuration Application (SCA).
You can consider the files that CMS installs and that pertain to your custom console, or workflow, for replication. These files typically reside in the \NR\System\WBC\Customizable\Hooks and \NR\System\WBC\Customizable\SiteEmbeddedWBCLinks virtual directories. As its name implies, the customizable virtual directory contains many configurable files that play a key part in the functionality of your Web Browser Client-enabled site. The Hooks and SiteEmbeddedWBCLinks virtual directories contain the most frequently modified files in the customizable hierarchy. However, all files and directories that it contains are safe to include in your replication definition.
