presentation to My Computer, your Internet dial-up connection opens
automatically. CAUSE This problem may occur if Always dial my default
connection is selected, and your Internet dial-up connection is your
default connection. RESOLUTION To work around this problem, select the Never dial a connection option. To do this, follow these steps: In Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, and Microsoft Windows 2000- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Internet Options.
- On the Connections tab, click Never dial a connection.
- Click OK to close the Internet Properties dialog box.
- Click the Close button to close Control Panel.
In Microsoft Windows XP- Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Network and Internet
Connections.
- Click Internet Options.
- On the Connections tab, click Never dial a connection.
- Click OK to close the Internet Properties dialog box.
- Click the Close button to close the Network and Internet
Connections dialog box.
