PowerPoint 2002, you receive the following error message: The Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system with Service Pack 1
or later is required to run Microsoft Producer. This problem may
occur even after Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 or later is already
installed. RESOLUTION To install Microsoft Producer, follow these steps:
- Use an extraction program, such as WinZip, to extract
Producer.exe to a new folder, such as C:\Prod.
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type the following, and then click OK:
MSIEXEC /i "C:\PROD\Microsoft Producer.msi" /l*v C:\Producer.log - In the Setup Wizard for Microsoft Producer, click Next.
- Accept the license agreement, and then click Next.
- Make any appropriate changes to the customer information,
and then click Next.
- Click Next to accept the installation folder.
- Click Install to start the installation of the Microsoft Producer
add-in.
- Click Finish after the Setup Wizard has completed.
To start Microsoft Producer, click Start, point to Programs, and then click Microsoft Producer.
