PRB: "Compile Error in Hidden Module" Error Message When You Open Analytic Builder Workbook (323581)

SUMMARY

When you start the Analytic Builder workbook, you may receive the following error messages:

Compile error in hidden module: mValidate

-and-

Compile error in hidden module: mParse

-and-

Compile error in hidden module: mLists

-and-

Compile error in hidden module: mProcess

You may also receive these error messages when you move between worksheets of the Analytic Builder workbook Microsoft Excel file.

CAUSE

The problem may occur when the MSBISOGenDTSPkgs.dll file is missing or is not registered.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

Re-register MSBISOGenDTSPkgs.dll. To register the .dll, run the following command:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server Accelerator for BI\bin\MSBISOGenDTSPkgs.dll"
