Cannot Use the SET Command or Other Commands That Use the Nslookup.exe Tool When CAPS LOCK Is Turned On in Windows XP (323566)

SYMPTOMS
If you try to use the set command or other commands that use the Nslookup.exe tool, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message:
*** Can't find address for server TYPE=MX: Non-existent domain
Additionally, you may not be able to quit Nslookup.exe by using the exit command.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the CAPS LOCK key is turned on. Nslookup.exe accepts only commands that you type in lower case.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, make sure that CAPS LOCK is turned off.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
