Error Message When You Click a Link Under Matching Documents (323373)

SYMPTOMS

If you perform a search, and then click a hyperlink under the Matching Documents heading, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to display document list.
An internal server error has occurred.
This symptom may occur if the permissions for the webpart have changed or if you do not belong to the local administrators group.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next SharePoint Portal Server 2001 service pack that contains this hotfix.
