PRB: Account with a Blank Password Cannot Create Active Directory Resources During Unpacking (323095)

When you click the Test Connection button in the Profiling System dialog box, you may receive the following error message:
Password must be supplied
Note that this symptom occurs while you are unpackaging the supplier Active Directory site.
CAUSE
You are using an account that has a blank (null) password.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, use an Active Directory account that does not have a blank password.

Even though you can create user accounts with blank passwords in Active Directory, Commerce Server 2002 is designed so that Active Directory administrators cannot have blank passwords. When you receive the error message, you cannot create Active Directory resources even though the domain, user name and password are correct.
