CAUSE
This problem may occur because there is a coding error. As
a result, the following registry keys are not imported into the Seczones.inf
file:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\P3P\
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\PrivacyAdvanced
RESOLUTION
A
supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to
computers that are experiencing this specific problem.

problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the fix. For a

The fix is only required on
the computer where the import occurs and not on the client computers where the
policy is applied.

Important This hotfix must be installed in two locations.
Client location
Use the provided hotfix installer, which updates the Ieakeng.dll
file that is located in the System32 folder.
Server location
Manually extract the files from the hotfix installer (use the
Q323061.exe
/? command to view extraction options), and then copy the
Ieakeng.dll file to the IEAK installation folder.
