XADM: -1018 and -1022 Errors on Dell PowerEdge Servers (322729)

Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server on any one of the following computers, Exchange may stop responding (hang) under heavy disk use: - a Dell PowerEdge
2400, 2450, or 4400 server
- a Dell PowerEdge 6450 server with PERCII
- a Dell PowerEdge 2650 with PER RAID Controller
You may see -1018 or -1022 error
messages in the application log. The errors may occur during:
- Defragmentation of a database
- Repair of a database
- Heavy disk use under typical operation
