XADM: GetDecodedContentStream Fails with "Unknown Error" on a Latin 9 (ISO) Encoded Message (322691)

This article was previously published under Q322691 SYMPTOMSGetDecodedContentStream fails with "Unknown Error" on a Latin 9 (ISO) encoded message. It works fine for other encoding types, for example, Turkish (ISO) and Greek (ISO).
CAUSE
The Cdoex Dynamic Link Library (DLL) does not support ISO-8859-15 as a body part. This is the code page that contains the EURO symbol.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
