XCCC: The Conferencing Web Scheduler Permits Meetings That Are Not Valid (322671)

The Exchange 2000 Conferencing Web Scheduler may permit a user to book a meeting with an incorrect duration or recurrence schedule. For example, a user may be able to book a meeting with a duration of four days every day. The Conferencing Web Scheduler permits the user to schedule the meeting, which is not valid.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the Conferencing Web Scheduler does not follow the Microsoft Outlook model for booking a meeting.

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
