XCCC: If You Use Outlook Web Access to Change the "File as" Property of a Contact, the Change Is Not Displayed in Outlook (322248)

SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to change the File as list, the change to the Contact attribute is not displayed in Microsoft Outlook.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Outlook does not support using OWA to change the Contact File as property in Exchange 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Exchange 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
