A slide show does not appear when you try to run the slide show in PowerPoint (322101)

This article was previously published under Q322101 SYMPTOMS When you try to run a slide show in Microsoft PowerPoint, the show does not appear. Additionally, you do not receive an error message. CAUSE This problem may occur if the slide show that you try to
run was designed to run on two monitors. By default in this design, PowerPoint
tries to display the show on the second monitor, even if that monitor is not
available in your current setup. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, follow these steps. For Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 - Open the presentation.
- On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
- Under Multiple Monitors, click Primary Monitor in the Display slide show on list.
- Click OK.
For Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 - Open the presentation.
- On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
- In the Show on list, click primary monitor.
- Click OK.
