WD2001: Spelling and Grammar, Thesaurus, and Hyphenation Not Available on Tools Menu (321999)

In Word 2001 for Mac, the Spelling and Grammar, Thesaurus, and Hyphenation proofing tools may not be available on the Tools menu.
When you click Spelling and Grammar on the toolbar, you may receive the following error message:
Grammar could not be initiated.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the Proofing Tools folder has been moved from Office 2001:Shared Applications folder on your computer's hard disk.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Quit all Microsoft Office programs, and then from the Finder, open the following folder:
Hard Disk:Microsoft Office 2001:Shared Applications
- Drag the Proofing Tools folder to the desktop.
- Insert the Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac CD-ROM, and then open the following folder
E:Microsoft Office 2001:Shared Applications
where E is your computer's CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
- Drag the Proofing Tools folder to the following folder:
Hard Disk:Microsoft Office 2001:Shared Applications
- Eject the Office 2001 CD-ROM, and then open the following folder:
Hard Disk:System:Preferences
- Drag the PPC Registration Database file to the desktop.
- Start Word from the Microsoft Office 2001 folder on the hard disk.
The proofing tools should now be available.
