SYMPTOMS

When you try to use RealOne Player by Real Networks, your computer may become unstable, or you may receive an error message that is similar to:
Crash caused in realplay.exe!! RealOne Player has encountered a problem and must be shut down. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If the error message is still displayed and if you want to see the data that the error report contains, click the click here link at the bottom of the message box. You then see error signature information that may be similar to:

CAUSE

RealOne Player version 6.0 has a known issue with Windows XP.

As of May 2, 2002, the latest version of RealOne Player is 7.0 (this is the Gold version). This version corrects problems running RealOne Player on Windows XP.
