SYMPTOMS

While you are using DivX Player version 2.0 Alpha on a Windows XP-based computer, you may receive the following error message:
alpha.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If the error message is still displayed and if you want to see the data that the error report contains, click the click here link at the bottom of the message box. You then see error signature information that may be similar to:

CAUSE

This is an alpha release of the program. Alpha releases are typically works-in-progress; some features may not work properly. Please notify the program manufacturer about this issue so that the manufacturer can resolve the issue in the final version of the program.
