Camedia Master Causes an Error Message in Windows XP (321960)

When you try to edit images by using the Olympus Camedia Master
program, you may receive the following error message:
Camedia Master has encountered a problem and must be shut down. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If the error message is still displayed and you want to see the data that the error report contains, click the click here link at the bottom of the message box. You then see error signature information that may be similar to the following:

CAUSE
This issue may occur because Camedia Master version 2.51 and earlier are not completely compatible with Windows XP.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the appropriate method:
- If you are running Camedia Master version 2.51, obtain and
install a patch from Olympus that resolves this issue.
- If you are running a version of Camedia Master that is earlier than version 2.5, upgrade to Camedia Master version 2.5 or later, and then obtain and install a patch from Olympus that resolves this issue.
