FIX: Non-OCR/Non-Display TIFF Data Indexed by SQL Server Full-Text (321820)

This article was previously published under Q321820 BUG #: 357161 (SHILOH_BUGS) SYMPTOMS Unexpected rows return from a SQL Server full-text query
when you use tag image file format (TIFF) documents. CAUSE SQL Server incorrectly allows MSSEARCH (Microsoft Search)
to index non-display and non-Optical Character Recognition (non-ocr), or both,
portions of the TIFF document.
RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, obtain the latest
service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000. For additional information, click

SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3. The English version of this fix
should have the following file attributes or later:

This problem was first corrected in Microsoft SQL Server
2000 Service Pack 3.
