BizTalk Server XLANG Scheduler May Leak Memory (321604)

SYMPTOMS

You may notice that the XLANG Scheduler COM+ component leaks memory when the schedules are processed in a "burst and wait" manner instead of a constant, steady flow of new schedules as older schedules complete.

This issue was first noted on BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet. However, this problem is not specific to BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft COM+ Hotfix Rollup 20. For additional information, click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Windows 2000 service pack that contains this hotfix.
