Microsoft Project Server includes an enhanced set of administration and security tools that extend the concepts that were first introduced with Microsoft Project Central. You can gain access to these tools by using Microsoft Project Web Access. These tools are designed to permit you to do the following:
  • Simplify the day-to-day tasks involved in managing the operations of the server
  • Take advantage of security features from Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP-based servers
  • Maintain the Microsoft Project Central security features
