PI: Printed Text Appears in Incorrect Format, Order, or Size, or "Invalid Page Fault in Module PIDOCOB6.dll" Error Message Appears (321351)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a project from Picture It! 2002 or Picture It! 2003, you may experience either of the following symptoms:
  • The printed text may not appear as you expect. The text may appear larger than you expect, or in an incorrect format or order.

    -or-

  • You may receive an error message similar to either of the following:
    PIP caused an Invalid Page Fault in module PIDOCOB6.dll.

    -or-

    PIP caused an Invalid Page Fault in module PIDOCOB7.dll.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if your printer software is damaged or out of date.

This behavior is known to occur with the following Compaq printers:
  • IJ 650
  • IJ 1200
  • IJ 1400P
  • A1500
  • A30

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods, as appropriate to your situation.

NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.

Method 1

With the Compaq IJ-series printers, try setting the printer to print directly to the printer:

  1. Click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes.
  2. Right-click your printer, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Click to select Print Directly to the Printer.
  5. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Method 2

Change the print processor setting to WinPrint: RAW so that the print processor does not change the document:
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Printers and Faxes.
  3. Right-click your printer, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Click Print Processor.
  6. In the Print processors list, click WinPrint.
  7. In the Default data type list, click RAW.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Method 3
