Pocket Excel Uses Tahoma Font Instead of the MS P Gothic Default Font (321311)

SYMPTOMS

When you type letters and numbers in the Japanese-language version of Pocket Excel on a Windows Powered Pocket PC 2002-based device, the letters and numbers in each cell use the Tahoma font, even though the default font is MS P Gothic.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the default font in the English-language version of Pocket Excel is the Tahoma font.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, manually format the cells if you want to use the MS P Gothic font.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
