SQL Server cluster supportability with MCMS 2001 and with MCMS 2002 (321190)

SUMMARY

Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2001 and MCMS 2002 support single-instance active/passive clustering with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition for failover purposes only. MCMS does not support SQL Server active/active clustering.

MCMS 2001 and MCMS 2002 only support single-instance SQL clustering with SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition. MCMS 2001 and MCMS 2002 does not support multiple-instance clustering with any version of SQL Server 2000, and MCMS 2001 does not support active/active or active/passive clustering with SQL Server 7.0 whereas MCMS 2002 is not supported with SQL Server 7.0 at all.
