FIX: Inbox, Settings, and Help Icons Are Missing on the Mail Page (320620)

SYMPTOMS

When you open the Mail page from a mailto link, the Inbox, Settings, and Help icons do not appear on the page.

CAUSE

The image URLs on the Mail page are relative. In the case of mailto, the image URLs are malformed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the latest service pack for Microsoft TV Server.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

This problem was corrected in Microsoft TV Server 1.0 Service Pack 2.

MORE INFORMATION

The problem was fixed by making the image URLs point to the correct image locations.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Open the Goto dialog box.
  2. Type www.upc.com in the text box, and then press ENTER.
  3. When the Web page is completely opened, click the e-mail stamp icon.
In addition to the behavior described previously, all of the buttons that appear on the left side of the page are not displayed correctly.
