A TV Log Event Is Not Generated During a Program Change (320422)

SYMPTOMS

The TV Advanced client correctly generates channel-change and program-change TV log events while it is displaying full screen TV. The client also generates channel-change events for PIP and embedded TV controls. However, program change events may not be logged when the user is not on full screen TV.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain and install the latest TV Server service pack.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

This problem was corrected in TV Advanced Client 2.0.
