SYMPTOMS

On a computer that uses multiple processors, you may receive the following Stop error message in Ntkrnlmp.exe on a blue screen if the endpoint receives a Reset packet:
STOP 0x0000000A (617470e5, 00000002, 00000000, 80139f43)

CAUSE

This error message is caused by a duplicate free interrupt request packet (IRP) in Afd.sys.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
