Yahoo! Messenger Causes an Error Message in Windows XP (320226)

When you try to log on to Yahoo! Messenger, your computer may become unstable, or you may receive the following error message:
Crash caused by YUPDATER.EXE!0x0000db4b -> Crash caused by YUPDATER.EXE!0x0000db4b
If the error message is still displayed and you want to see the data that the error report contains, click the click here link at the bottom of the message box. You then see error signature information that may be similar to the following:

CAUSE
This issue may occur if Yahoo! Updater stops responding (hangs) when you log on to Yahoo! Messenger.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, obtain and install the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger from either of the following Yahoo! Web sites:
