SUMMARY

Microsoft QuickBASIC Version 1.00 for the Apple Macintosh does not support function procedures or the FUNCTION or END FUNCTION statements. Only functions defined with the DEF FN statement are supported.

Function procedures (which are defined with the FUNCTION and END FUNCTION statements) are only supported by the following BASIC products, which do not run on an Apple Macintosh:

  1. Microsoft QuickBASIC Versions 4.00 and later for the IBM PC and strict compatibles
  2. Microsoft BASIC Compiler Version 6.00 and later for MS-DOS and MS OS/2
