Page Displays "Waiting for Moderator Approval" Status After Publishing Options Changed (319950)

SYMPTOMS

When an administrator uses the Web Author to change the publishing options of a posting property, the posting remains in the Waiting for Moderator Approval status, even though the posting should show a status of Waiting for Editor Approval. This error occurs with all types of postings, but does not occur with the Site Builder.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, the administrator can move pages out of the moderator state.

MORE INFORMATION

According to the workflow definition, if no moderator exists in a channel, a posting should never be assigned to a moderator (that is, if no moderator exists, no moderator state can exist).
