SYMPTOMS

While you are using BearShare version 2.4 or earlier by Free Peers, Inc., you may receive the following error message:

Bearshare.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you view the data that the error report contains, the following error signature information is listed:

CAUSE

This is a known issue with this version of BearShare and Windows XP.
