HomeSite 5.0 May Cause an Error Message (319807)

SYMPTOMS

When you are running HomeSite 5.0 by Macromedia, you may receive the following error message:
Homesite5.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the data that the error report contains, the following error signature information is listed:

CAUSE

After you install HomeSite 5, you must restart the computer to finish the installation. If you do not restart the computer, the error message occurs.

RESOLUTION

Restart the computer, or log off and then log back on to finish the installation of HomeSite 5.0.
