SUMMARY

You can install the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries on servers that are running:
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Standard Edition
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Developer Edition
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Enterprise Edition
You are not limited to installing the BizTalk Adapter on BizTalk Server 2000 Enterprise Edition servers only.

Microsoft supports the BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries on BizTalk Server 2000 Standard Edition, Developer Edition, or Enterprise Edition.

2.1 Software Prerequisites

The product depends on other software technologies that must be installed on the computer before the BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries can be installed. The minimum software required is:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Advanced Server, or Datacenter with the latest service pack.
  • Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Enterprise Edition and all prerequisites.

    Important You must be running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Enterprise Edition. Running the Standard or Developer Editions is not supported with this adapter.
This information was correct when the BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries was first released as the BizTalk Adapter had only been tested on BizTalk Server 2000 Enterprise edition.
