SYMPTOMS

During the rapid transmission of data, your Windows NT-based computer may generate a bugcheck in the Tcpip.sys file. Note that this rare problem has only been reported to occur with Gigabit Ethernet, and is not likely to occur with standard 10/100 Mb network adapters.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
