Works Suite 2002: Error Message: Works Cannot Access One or More Required Files (318904)

If you uninstall Microsoft Works 6.0 from Microsoft Works Suite 2002, the following error message appears when Microsoft Windows starts:
Works cannot access one or more required files. The files may have been renamed, deleted, or removed. Try reinstalling Works, and then starting the program again.
This problem affects only international versions of Works Suite 2002.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you uninstall Works 6.0 but you do not uninstall Picture It! 2002 from Works Suite 2002.
RESOLUTION
Uninstall Picture It! 2002. To do this, follow the steps appropriate to your situation.
For Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me)- On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- Click Microsoft Picture It! Photo 2002, and then click Add/Remove.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to uninstall Picture It! 2002.
For Microsoft Windows XP- On the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.
- Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
- Click Microsoft Picture It! Photo 2002, and then click Remove.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to uninstall Picture It! 2002.
If you want to reinstall Picture It! 2002, install it by using CD 4 of the Works Suite set. The error should not reappear.
