SYMPTOMS When you try to create a system data source name (system
DSN), you may receive the following error message:
Unable to load msjter40.dll CAUSE This issue occurs when one of Microsoft Data Access
Components (MDAC) files, Msjter40.dll, is corrupted or missing. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Download Microsoft Data Access Components. To do this,
visit the following Microsoft Web site:
- Double-click the downloaded file to reinstall
MDAC.
- Create the system DSN.
