SYMPTOMS

Outlook 2000 may not display a complete HTML message or a message that contains an embedded Microsoft Excel form if Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 is installed on the computer on which Outlook 2000 is installed.

CAUSE

Because of a code change in version 6.0.2600.0 of the Mlang.dll file, the Mlang.dll file may default to using the US-ASCII code pages under certain circumstances. If the US-ASCII code page is not currently installed on the Outlook 2000 computer, HTML messages may not appear in their entirety. Version 6.0.2600.0 of the Mlang.dll file is included with Internet Explorer 6.0.
