Step 1: Save a Page and Wallpaper Image to Your Web- In FrontPage, open a Web.
- Click the New Page button on the Standard toolbar.
NOTE: If the Standard toolbar is not visible, point to Toolbars on the View menu, and then click Standard. - Insert an image file. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Insert menu, point to Picture and then click From File.
- In the Picture dialog box, follow these steps:
- In the Look in list, click My Computer.
- Double-click the drive where your Windows folder is located.
- Double-click your Windows folder.
- Double-click one of the default wallpaper image files (*.bmp). The background image is inserted onto your Web page.
- On the File menu, click Save.
- In the File name box type a name for your file (for example, type BackgroundTest.htm), and click Save.
- In the Save Embedded Files dialog box, click OK to save the image to your Web.
NOTE: If you want to save the image to a specific folder in your Web, click Change Folder and point to the folder where you want to save the image.

Step 2: Use Cascading Style Sheets to Set the Background Image Properties- If the page you created in Step 1: Save a Page and Wallpaper Image to Your Web is not open, open it.
- Select the image on the Web page and then click Delete on the Edit menu.
- On the Format menu, click Style.
- In the list of available styles, click Body, and then click Modify.
- Click Format and then click Border.
- Click the Shading tab. Click Browse to select the image that you saved to your Web in Step 1: Save a Page and Wallpaper Image to Your Web and then click Open.
- In the Borders and Shading dialog box, perform the following steps:
- In the Vertical position list, click Center.
- In the Horizontal position list, click Center.
- In the Repeat list, click No-repeat.
- In the Attachment list, click Fixed.
- Click OK to close the Borders and Shading dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Modify Style dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Style dialog box.
- On the File menu, click Save to save the page to your Web.
