PIP2002: Green Box Is Displayed When You Open Template (317788)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to open a template, the thumbnail image of the template appears as expected. However, when the template is open, only the text and a green box are displayed instead of the template.

CAUSE

This issue may occur when you try to open one of the following templates:
  • Quarter-Side-fold Cards
  • Half-Side-fold Cards
This issue may also occur if the graphics filters are corrupted or if the installation is bad

RESOLUTION

Remove Picture It! Digital Image Pro version 7

To remove Digital Image Pro version 7, follow these steps:
  1. Rename the following folder

    C:\program files\common files\Microsoft Shared\Grphflt

    to:

    C:\program files\common files\Microsoft Shared\OldGrphflt

  2. Reinstall Digital Image Pro version 7 by using a clean boot method.
  3. Copy the contents of the OldGrphflt folder into the Grphflt folder.

    When you are prompted to overwrite files, click No.

Perform a Disk Cleanup

To perform a disk cleanup, follow these steps.

NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
  2. Click C: or the disk where Picture It! Publishing is installed, and then click OK.
  3. In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, click to select each check box, and then click OK.
  4. Permit the Disk Cleanup process to complete.
