Configure Disk Caching

When you disable disk caching, you avoid the loss of data during interruption of service failures, such as a power failure. When you disable disk caching, you degrade the BizTalk Server performance.

To enable or to disable disk caching:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
  2. In the Computer Management tree, expand Device Manager.
  3. In the detail pane, double-click Disk Drives.
  4. Right-click the drive on which you want to configure disk caching, and then click Properties.
  5. In the Device Name Disk Device Properties dialog box, on the Disk Properties tab, clear the Write Cache Enabled check box.
NOTE: This procedure is a computer-wide change of the disk cache properties.
