This article describes the icons that appear in the register in Microsoft Money.

Money detects similar transactions on multiple occasions and marks the transactions in the register as potentially recurring. These marked transactions are also listed under Potential Recurring Transactions on the Accounts & Bills view of the Home page.

The following icons may appear in the register:
  • A closed envelope with a lightning bolt indicates that the payment has been sent, but has not been reconciled.
  • An open envelope with a lightning bolt indicates that Money tried to send a payment, but the payment was not transmitted successfully.
  • A closed envelope with a question mark indicates a potential recurring transaction.

    Note You can also right-click the marked transaction in the account register, click Review potential recurring transaction, and then click Set Up. Type the information that is required, and then click OK.
  • A red flag indicates that the transaction has been flagged for follow-up.
