This article contains a list of the network adapters for which support has been removed for the Enterprise and Standard Editions of Windows Server 2003. True server environments require hardware and drivers that can meet stressful networking environments. ISAPNP and PCMCIA adapters do not meet these requirements. USB does not meet the throughput or scalability requirements.
