SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft .NET Enterprise Services on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2), you may encounter various instability problems such as access violations, hangs, or deployment problems.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
