To copy the contents of a CD-ROM, use one of the following procedures, as appropriate for your hardware:
  • If you have a standard CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive and a CD recorder (CD-R or CD-RW) drive, follow these steps:
    1. Insert the CD-ROM that you want to copy (the source CD) into the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
    2. Insert a blank, CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD recorder drive.
    3. Drag the contents of the source CD to the CD recorder drive.
  • If you have only a CD recorder drive, follow these steps:
    1. Insert the CD-ROM that you want to copy (the source CD) into the CD recorder drive.
    2. Copy the contents of the source CD to a folder on your hard disk.
    3. Remove the source CD, and then insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD recorder drive.
    4. Drag the contents of the source CD from the hard disk to the CD recorder drive.
